The United States twenty-dollar bill is a denomination of U.S. currency that features a portrait of Andrew Jackson, the 7th President of the United States. The current design of the bill was introduced in 2003 and includes upgraded security features such as color-shifting ink, watermarks, and security threads.
The front of the $20 bill also features the words "Federal Reserve Note" and "The United States of America," as well as Jackson's signature. The back of the bill features an image of the White House, the official residence and workplace of the President of the United States.
The twenty-dollar bill has been in circulation since 1862 and is a widely used denomination for everyday transactions. It is also a popular denomination for ATMs and vending machines.
